**The trade organization connects independent quilt and fabric shop owners with design studios, premier trade shows, and business resources.

For the second year Material Girls has partnered with a talented group of Australian designers for the 2011 edition of Quilt Aid to benefit the The Fistula Foundation. A large portion of profits from the designer, the store and the fabric sold in each kit will be donated to the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia through The Fistula Foundation in the USA and the Hamlin Fistula^® Relief and Aid Fund in Australia.
